3D - Vessels, Gourds, Spheres
The textural nature of mosaic using repurposed materials makes 3D vases and vessels a natural substrate. In addition to reinventing ceramic vases and pots, I also experiment with gourds and fabricate my own sculptural shapes using a technique involving Styrofoam, fiberglass mesh, and concrete.
